What are the most likely genres I should listen at Discoveries?
There are a plenty of them such as: Tech House, Techno, Tropical House, Deep House, Bass House, Disco House, Electro House, Electronica, Future Bass, Future House, Progressive House, UK Bass and UK Garage.
What age do I have to be to attend?
You must be +18 years old and you will need ID to prove your age to guarantee entry.
What is included in my festival ticket?
General admission tickets include one-day access to the main festival area. We have priavte tables in case you are interested to open minimum 2 bottles with max. 5 friends. Note: Drinks and private tables are not included in the ticket price. Bill and venue subject to change.
What payment methods can be used to purchase tickets?
Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, MB Way and Multibanco reference (last two are only available in Portugal).
Can I request installment payments?
No, this option is not available for this edition.
How do I arrive to the festival by public transport or personal transport?

Which objects are forbidden?

I am taking medication. Can I bring it with me?
Yes, however you have to bring the medical certificate.
Do disability people have good conditions at the venue?
Yes, we can provide a special area for you. Although you must inform us in advance, please contact us.
Will there be Lost & Found?
No, but inform our staff.
Do you have any information about the site where Discoveries will happen? What will be there?
We want you to have the best Discoveries experience! Partying hard and your safety and comfort is our priority.
If you need medical or security assistance, have forgotten to pack something, have lost something or someone at the event, we’re here to help.

Is there any chance of being recorded or photographed at Discoveries Festival?
Going to Discoveries, you accept to show up in an aftermovie or in photographs post festival, which might be published in our social media or artwork.
Ticketing
What should I do, if I want to upgrade my tickets?
This edition, we haven’t VIP tickets, only private tables which aren’t included on any ticket type.
I purchased a General Admission ticket and now I want a private table at the VIP area.
Contact us to book the table.
Can I cancel or exchange my tickets?
It is not possible to cancel purchased tickets.
You can exchange your tickets but keep in mind that reselling your tickets for an higher price than its face value is forbidden and it is punished by the law.
Travel
Which airport should I fly to?
You should fly to Aeroporto Humberto Delgado (LIS), which has connections to all Europe, America, South America, Middle East and Africa.
How do I get from LIS airport to Lisbon City Center?
LIS is one of the closest international airports to the city center!
Firstly there are a couple of apps for transportation (Bolt, Uber etc.). This should cost around 10€ to reach the city center, a 10 minutes trip without traffic.
Secondly, Metro is a good alternative because it has a direct line to the heart of the portuguese capital. It takes 20 minutes from “Aeroporto” to “São Sebastião” and 30 minutes to the old town “Baixa Chiado”, but it requires a change at “Alameda” station from red to green line. View the map of metro here. You will need to purchase at the machines of Metro station a Viva Viagem card which costs 0,50€ and after purchasing it you can use it for unlimited trips. The price for a single journey is 1,50€ inside the main region of Lisbon.
I will be visiting Madrid / Porto / Algarve. What is the best way to travel to Lisbon?
All of these places have direct flights which usually take from 30 to 60 minutes. So, if you are in Madrid, we advise you to buy a flight ticket. From the other cities you can travel by train or bus very easily. Portuguese train company is CP (view website). There are some companies operating buses from many places and we advice you to use Flixbus (view website) or Rede Expressos (view website).
Accommodation
Can we camp at Discoveries Festival?
No, Discoveries is a non-camping festival.
Where can I book an accommodation?
We suggest all Explorers who are coming from outside to book hotels through Expedia, Booking, Hostelworld or Airbnb.
Where can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Usually, hotels and hostels let you store your bags in their backoffice, although there are other options such as locker stores around Lisbon, which you can easily find their location on Google, and some companies that manage Airbnb houses have stores too providing that service.
Who should I contact if I have doubts about my accommodation?
For any question regarding your accommodation, ask directly to the online travel agency or the hotel/hostel/host you booked.

The average high is 15.3ºC / 59.5ºF and the average low is 9.4ºC / 48.9ºF.
Where are the best areas to stay in Lisbon?
What currency is accepted in Lisbon?
Portugal belongs to Eurozone, so you need to pay everything, including at the festival site, in Euros. In case you need to exchange money, we recommend doing it with Revolut, N26, Bunq, etc. and later you can withdrawn it in any ATM in Lisbon. If you have cash to exchange to Euros, do it in a certified place like Unicâmbio, with stores in multiple locations around the city, including at the airport.
Press
How can I apply for a press accreditation?
Please contact us through “INFO@MEGAALIVE.COM” with subject “Discoveries Festival”, informing the number of accreditations, professional card number, position and name of the Media you represent and we will review your Press request. The deadline is up to 7 days prior the event.
